Baby Greyson: 1-3 months...

The first few months in all honesty are a complete blur.  I have a hard time remembering much, because it just flew by.  The first few weeks I was totally pampered.  Corb had taken off work for the first week or two and was home helping me.  He had much more experience in the baby department than me.  I'm pretty certain I had never even changed a diaper.  I never did much babysitting, and Ryan is my only other sibling.  Needless to say, I learned a lot that first month.

I was loving being mom, but it took a long time for it to really sink in.  It was all so hard to believe that I had a baby, a son, and he was mine.  I made him, and I was taking care of him....it was a lot to take in.  I have always been responsible, but having that kind of responsibility for the first time was overwhelming.  I adjusted quickly, and after a month or two I just couldn't imagine my life without him.

Poor Grey had a terrible rash the day after he was born.  Luckily it cleared up just a week or so after he was born.  So sad, looking back at these pictures reminds me of how bad it was.  I guess I had forgotten.

On our way to get his billi checked.  Only 4 days old.

The Mamaroo, where Grey slept for the first 2 months of his
life

Pretty sure he wanted more milk right here. Always hungs...

Our little burrito!
Notice in this next picture Grey's head is cocked sideways.  It was always like that in the beginning.  Corb and I were worried something was wrong with his neck!  Turns out that must have been how he was in my belly.  Eventually it worked itself out and now I never notice it.

Our first walk up the canyon when he was 2 weeks old.

We totally got peed on right before this pic.

One of my all time favorites. So precious.

Newborn pics in his nursery...

The only way I could get anything done. Wear him around
the house.

Blessing Day!

Sleepy Grey.

My favorite!
During the first month or so I was always trying to sleep when Grey was sleeping.  It was the ONLY way I would get any sleep.  The nights were very trying.  I felt like I was up most the night feeding him and getting him back to bed, and then doing it all over an hour later....haha! Its a good thing I don't remember much of it.

Silly faces.

Taking Gram flowers at the hospital.

His first set of silly pics.
Passed out like usual.
This next picture is of Grey and his first big colorful contraption.  I debated about if I should get this, and its a good thing I did.  He LOVED it!  That first night we got it, I'm pretty sure I was able to make dinner, eat dinner, and clean up dinner without him getting fussy.  He was perfectly content just kicking and playing on his little mat.  Before I had Grey, I never saw the point in any of these massive colorful things.  Turns out I was completely wrong.  They are an absolute necessity and total life saver.

Those little lips.

Back when you could just lay him on the counter
and he wouldn't even move.

Silly glasses.

Baby Grey Tidbits 1-3 Months:

-Sleeps a lot, during the day that is...
-Nurses really well, once mama figured out how to do it...
-Loves to be swaddled by dad.  Mom isn't very good at it.
-Scratched himself a few times on accident, and scratched moms chest up pretty bad while being nursed.
-His little head was always tilted to one side.  It was almost like he couldn't turn it the other way.
-He rolled over once when he was about 8 weeks old, but didn't do it a lot or consecutively.
-Good at making eye contact.
-Sleeps in the mamaroo, in mom and dads room.
